I shoot in Raw and JGP Both.. This was Processed in RAW. I have found that The Raw files allow you to do more to them before creating defects in the image. there are other things that make RAW nice but it has its down side to I guess..

I asked that question about Raw as this image http://shadowness.com/mindwarp2/seeing-is-believing was processed in raw then finally edited in PS

on the processing/post editing side i had always been used to Jpeg plus i could make something out of a photo if it didn't look appealing to the eye.Like you i will probably shoot in both Jpeg and Raw as i still plan on using my 12mp compact as well as the 20D

What Type of Processing did you do to that Image? If you wouldn't mind I would love to give it a Go in Raw if you want to send me the File

      Hi Brian

i used the raw tool in Photoshop the post processing was similar to how i used to edit images under Jpeg contrast colour correction shadow and highlight adjustments

your camera software should have raw process or simply do a google and look for a raw conversion/editing tool

      Hi Brian

the original Raw image for my daisies is about 7-11mb if this is the one you mention then your raw software will need to open a format called CR (camera raw) if you are keen on this let me know
