My first maya model (well, first one that I actually finished.) Slowly breaking the chains off of my love affair with 3ds Max...lol.

LHASAnights Well, right now I think Max is easier, but I just started using maya regularly a few months ago. It has it's ups and downs. Navagating the interface is easier in Max, at leat I think so, but Maya has a lot of features that max doesn't have.

Starbuck I am quite new to the whole 3D modeling scene, and I have to say I quite like the ease on which you can 3ds max. But it's never a bad thing to try out other software, so maybe in the near future I will give Maya a change .. when I get better at modeling of course ;)

I was wondering...can we post video files on shadowness? :/ I want to upload animation for my portfolio. However, it seems that currently this is...not possible? That makes Lhasa a sad panda.
