Though we rushed to the beach, or the marina, or the pier nearly every night for sunset, the color never really exploded. However, the view of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and the subtle hues in the sky were the always a great way to relax and mellow after sometimes long days of driving, hiking, and shooting.
At the very least, it was a good lesson in patience, and a reminder to enjoy the beauty that was there, rather than wishing for what wasn't.

can definitely look past the meager color display with that fantastic foreground! love the motion and details..stupendous exposure! one day we will have a fantastic sunset/rise to shoot..though i dont believe its needed with foregrounds like this
