So, finally got to start exploring Pendleton Run, which for some reason or another has eluded me the past few years.
As I was making my way through the rhododendrons to reach this spot, I heard a roar/growl/somekindofnoise. I have no idea what it was, but it scared me! I'm just going to keep telling myself that it was the falls of Pendleton greeting me for the first time, lol

so glad you able to find and explore this beautiful part of blackwater! such a cute lil fall, love the golden tones and how they are surrounding by the rich perfect greens! will definitely be all over this place in may..growling critters or not! :D

yeah, this is definitely a different side of the canyon! not mossy because it faces south and gets all the direct sunlight. but is unique on its own..can not wait to explore this place in may! we're getting down to the bottom on both sides of the canyon..might need to stay two or three days though ;)
