Finally back in action after a fantastic trip to the Pacific Northwest! :)

A surprise two day trip to the Columbia River Gorge did not disappoint. After spending one day on the Washington side, we spent the second day exploring the Oregon side. While the incredible beauty of Multnomah Falls was captivating, the creek feeding it was just as lovely, in my opinion. This section of Multnomah Creek is above the main falls, so peaceful and idyllic, one would hardly guess that a 620 foot drop awaits just around the bend! I fell in love with this little stone bridge, and excitedly tried to make some kind of shot work here.

It was a beautiful day for a hike up Multnomah Creek, around to Lemmons Viewpoint, and down by Fairy Falls, just to name a few of the highlights!

Special thanks to Addam www.shadowness.com/dittto for being a kind and patient guide and for sharing all this beauty with me. :]

      Thank you, sweet Holly! It was indeed a textural paradise...lots for the eyes and other senses to take in! You should have smelled the air, heard the birds, felt the breeze...it was all a dream! I'd love to show you around, but I'm not sure I know where I'm going!

      Hehe...like I said, tried to capture things differently while I was shooting with you! Made a point to try to point my camera in the other direction a good bit of the time. This spot, however, was different..was just really captivated by the bridge for some reason! those mossy stones really did look like a fantasy land, and i'm so glad you said that came through in the pic! have a couple other shots of this spot I'd like to share with you. They include more of the neat looking trees, but not as much of the water. Was a hard choice! Anyway..I'll stop rambling now and just say a big thanks to you for your kind words!

      And for the record..sometimes things turn out much better when you don't know where you're going. Someone very wise once told me..just gotta roll with the punches, yes?!

      hehe..kinda have to point other directions so im not in your shot ;)

      like we agreed earlier..looks like a creation of digital painters/manipulators..though i know if they tried to create a scene similar wouldnt have come out as fantastic as this }
      my pleasure sweetie!!

      oh yeah?! sounds like crazy talk to me... i punch back instead of roll!

      Very true...you're in, like I said, 50% of my shots as it is! All my best shots from Deception Pass have you and Ruckus in them! I had no idea you were perched out on that rock! Might just have to post them anyway.. ;)

      Hehe...just try to punch back with me and see what happens!
