The entire day was perfectly magical. The conditions and the inspiration both came together and resulted in my best shoot ever. By the time I arrived to my destination, the fog had mostly burned off, but provided a little bit of moisture for the morning sun rays to catch. It was quite challenging, actually, to pull off a decent comp here. At one point, I was standing in the water, knee-deep, trying to shoot the falls head on. From that vantage point, however, it cuts one or the other side of the falls off too much. I saw this mossy boulder and decided to climb up on some other boulders and tree roots to get a higher perspective instead. The late evening light was also very pleasing. Not to mention all the great work I'm missing out on by not being around. :( But I wanted to stop in and wish those of you in my hemisphere a happy autumn. Hope you are all doing well. I promise to get caught up soon! Jonathan Run Ohiopyle State Park, PA Mon, 23 Sep 2013 16:10:09 -0400 Engravograph
Taken on the Seattle Underground Tour. Parts of the city are built on top of the old city that flooded regularly and eventually burned in an accident. So now, of course, you can pay money to go underground on a tour and see all of the "stuff" left behind. It's stinky, dusty, and at times creepy...but fascinating. Thanks to Addam for arranging the tour on the fly as we bounced around to other touristy spots in the city with our friend Leasha! :) Wed, 07 Aug 2013 09:45:28 -0400
