My name is Stephanie. I am an art history nut, and i'm obsessed with trying every artistic media I can get my hands on. From dark room photography, welded sculpture, ceramics, painting and inks to digital media such as corel painter, adobe photoshop, and open canvas. I also enjoy making props for shows - I do stage combat for things like renaissance festivals, pirate fairs, and conventions. I like to think i'm a rather amiable!

I was born in 1985, on Incirlik AFB in Turkey. I'm not Turkish. Just an Air Force brat. I am currently enrolled int he University of Portland in Oregon, majoring in English. I'll be graduating in May of '08 and I have no idea where I'm going from there. I've basically been drawing since I was a wee little kid, as a lot of little kids do. I just stuck with it and tried on different styles as I learned. Yeeees, I had an "anime" stage. I won't say I didn't learn anything from it, but I'm glad it's behind me now. Mostly I draw people - sometimes I'll try animals if I'm feeling plucky, but generally I enjoy the challenges and rewards of figure drawing. I'm a fan of contortionism and circus arts as well as just general fantasy and all that is unusual.
