I'm an up and coming cartoon artist who is looking for a new place to present myself. I want to do comic books of my own design, and also improve on my realism and my backgrounds. Feel free to be as harsh as possible about my work. My dream is to have at least one cartoon show in my life time and several comic books.
I'm a self taught artist but any help would be appreciated.

You just need more confidence, man. You're capable of doing awesome work, and I think that you should try making comics again. It doesn't have to be a defined, long, drawn out plot or anything epic. I liked the one page comics you did and posted on DA. And you've certainly improved since then.
