Shackles of a Conquered Monster

Found out yesterday that I won the recent CGChannel mattepainting contest (bottom matte paint won, which is surprising because it wasn't finished). I'm not really happy with either one, but I am happy that one of them was able to win.

The plate was provided for us in case anyone is wondering why they look alike. The theme of the contest was Peter Jackson's King Kong.
