No, not really a buddhist wheel, but sort of a wheel of life in a way I guess. I do feel that many things are interconnected and what we do greatly affects other things. Sounds like I should check out some of those illustrations! I'm not really very religious in general, although there does tend to be some general truths that I sometimes try to lilustrate (but mostly by mistake). I like the number 9 too, that must mean something.
Surely. I'm not very religious myself, I find their precepts rather fascinating though. Its interesting how visionary artwork can be that flows from the subconscious demonstrating a sort of interconnectedness of ideas, symbols and life....i wonder what your #9 piece would look like.
thanks. Yeah, funny, I never thought about the orange cross section, but I can see it! I was thinking about starfish and sea urchin type organisms (in the Phylum Echinodermata), but then was thinking about the formation of more of these type of creatures and what sort of matter that would be, so I called the drawing "Echinodermatter".
