Thank you! I tried to present this to my town but they didn't like it and say they don't like my work so its time to see what's next in this game of life! We threw a dart at the map and are off to the prairies!
I'm sure I can find something interesting and if not I will make it interesting! :lmao

No shit! Anyway they will never have it or any others from me. Its a very long story but we're moving so its all history but I could never understand and I offered a lot of my work to them and was more after exposure than money but they simply said they don't like my photos so end of story! *shrug
Its the sole purpose for the move but its a lot bigger can of worms.
There is another photographer in town that they support so I guess he was threatened. That was never my intention.
      I'm certainly not the type.

Yes it feels great to leave. I just never understood why but anyway I can take a hint. I did 2 photo books and a couple calendars on the town and the area and they were more offended than happy. :( Very weird.

Seems like they just wanted to protect the other photographer

I guess so. Too bad though that we all lose what could have been great!

I think so. Strange place to be offended cause I help to promote. Sure was a lot of work for me for nothing. My other website was very informative and based on the town. I promoted it very hard and it was going well. Now it sits dormant and offline.
      A lesson learned...

Yeah, I hate it when you put a lot of effort into something and it's not appreciated

      You have no idea.
Well they see Banff and Lake Louise as arch enemies and they are Canada's #1 tourism destination So I think they should be kissing their asses not fighting them but this is a big problem. Very big. We are only 1.5 hours from there.
I also believe that since I had my favorite Lake Louise picture on my home page last year that this is a very big reason for what's happened. I had no idea but it was really a slap in the face to them.
So really, i'm not kissing their ass at this point. Seems they have the problem and not me so I'll simply move on and cut my losses. They will never get ahead thinking like that with their attitude

You are absolutely right, it's more their loss than yours I think

This little town has a lot more than Banff but they're going about it all wrong. They could suck up to them and soon start reaping the rewards but we have a saying back home where people as a whole seem a lot brighter "You can't talk to a turnip"
      How true it is.

Awesome stuff, do you use a tripod for panoramic work, or some other method?
