I am co-owner to a business called Darklight Galleries which my partner Christan Allen and I are trying to get off the ground. Bautista is a Fine Arts major in Advertising student of Bulacan State University who has exemplified his skills in different fields. He has topped visual arts competitions like the 4th Cocolife Colors of Life Student Visual Arts Competition – Runner up (College category), 2011 National Student Art Competition (Art Petron) – Grand Prize (T-shirt design) and Semifinalist (Painting category), 43rd Shell National Students Art Competition (NSAC) – 5th honorable mention, 2010 Metrobank Art Design Excellence (MADE) – Semifinalist, and, a grandprize winner in the 1st Bulacan State University Painting Contest. Aside from his artistic excellence, Batista has contributed in BulSU’s official student publicaton, Pacesetter, as a member for 3 years and the Art Director for his last year. He has won Regional and Luzonwide press competitions in editorial cartooning and comic strip drawing.

Feb 25th, 2012Well hello there I guess I should tell you about myself so here it goes. I love to draw, always have, I love to write in fact I'm working on a story proyect. I love to read and mostly urban fantacy like Kelly Armstrong novels series Weman from the Otherworld and Darkest Powers. Of course I love the Harry Potter series by J.K Rolling. My only problem is I'm a bit...let's see...lazy? Um, yep that's it, I'm lazy for the writing, so I say good luck to meh. I love pop, pop-rock, love country, Reba being my fav. love, love Paramore. I do love Eminem, but he's the only rapper I actually like, weird...yea. I look very serious, but deep down I'm very goofy. Hope I get to meet cool artist here, tho. I fell in love with art since my childhood because of anime :p i always used to draw my favorite characters, & that's how i found my passion for drawing. When i studied Fine Art, we had this amazing teacher who introduced us to digital art, & visual communication, & that's how i fell in love with vector, & this awesome software Adobe Illustrator. So i decided i wanna be a graphic designer :D
