I don't like to fix tittles on my self, so I rather say I'm an enthusiast and that I love to do what I do. Mainly work with photoshop and traditional methods [drawing/coloring]. Apr 4thExpressing yourself in the form of an art is one of the best way to show how we feel, what we think and what we want them to know. We express ourselves in many ways as I express mine by getting inked. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction and fullfilment whenever I see my tattoo, its not a crime to get inked, that's already a taboo. Get yourself inked with an art that embodies your ideas, your feelings and yourself.

Mar 29thartisan of dreams. of my dreams Lei lo aveva abituato al sangue per la paura che la sete potesse scoppiargli tutta in una volta, fin da piccolo al suo seno si era attaccato per suggere sangue come nutrimento. Aveva sbagliato mille volte con quel suo figlio e continuava a scegliere errori per lui perché i vampiri non sono bravi genitori, non lo sono affatto. Non sono programmati per esserlo in nessun caso e lei era degnamente vampira ma indegnamente madre…da troppi secoli la sua vita mortale si era spezzata per ricordarsi anche solo cosa significasse essere figlia, come poteva conoscere il significato della parola madre se non le era mai stato concesso un figlio come donna? Nei suoi infiniti venticinque anni non conosceva niente che poteva aiutarla nel crescere un figlio. Nei suoi trecentoventi anni non aveva mai pensato di essere una madre fallita, lo scoprì in quel momento, davanti a quei due ragazzi che avevano un odore troppo invitante e umano per resistere a non assaggiarli.

Apr 2ndI’m Christel Michiels and I’m graphic designer from Belgium. I discovered the art of Photo Manipulation on Deviantart, a major creative community, which I joined in 2006.This curiosity became a passion but my first drafts lacked technique and signification. Communication by imagery is very important to me. I've finally found my format and my style after many hours of trial and practice. My craft evolved most between 2008-2009 and a new passion was born in the form of Darkyria Design. Darkyria Design is the creative name that I chose because it reflects my personality and my art. This new knowledge of Photo Manipulation was added to previous skills acquired earning my bachelor degree in Graphic Design and it allows me to explore beauty in darkness, forgotten worlds, myths and legends but it is also a great way to narrate stories with my own vision and to give and share some of my feelings with other people through characters. My primary work is with fantasy and with emotional and dark illustrations. Most often I choose female character as the main subject. I specialize in creating multiple types of art, available on the net for print issues.
