This piece is special for me because it was my first collaboration with my friend the great artist Martin de Diego Sadaba (http://shadowness.com/martindediego).
It was really fun to do, the workflow was quite good, and i had the chance to learn a lot. And of course i love the final result.
2.Did you choose, or were you chosen to create this artwork?
Actually Martin came one day with the idea of doing something that could take his style and mine for the 8th exhibition of Hysterical Minds: Shadowness, sponsored by this community.
So we talked about a bit, and started to sketch this kind of biomechanical robot controlled by the little doll looking girl.
3.Tell us about your techniques.
We both do digital paint, and decided to work on the piece at the same time, working both on different parts of the piece.
As I said, this was entirely painted, with no more than 3 or 4 brushes. In my case i like to use the pen tool for the basic shapes, and then paint over it,but this time i tried to work a bit more in a traditional way.
4.Where did you found your inspiration about this artwork?
We didn't look to any specific source of inspiration for this one, there was the idea of showing the relation between humans and machines, and the premise in the Hysterical Minds artpack/s brief of the dark nature for the piece.
5.How do you feel about the feedback and the response you received? Do you care? Or do you like to figure it out all by yourself?
The most important feedback about this I got it from my mates at HM, when the artpack was being made, once it was online I only got good words for it,and got a very good response with the public.I always care of what people have to say of my work, thats a basic to know what aspects i need to improve and grow up as an artist.
6.What are your biggest doubts (assuming you have any), about your artwork?
Yeah, I doubt a lot, I'm always questioning my work, its the best way to keep motivated, and to force me to go one step further each time.
When you feel your work is ok, you just keep doing the same over and over, and thats just not good to me.

The story behind the artwork.
We will try to show the story behind the artwork.
Many times all of us we are wondering how a piece of art was created.
Here is a good chance to learn some informations about techniques, the artist's feelings who is being interviewed and many more.
We will be picking one artwork, and the selected artist will have the chance to choose 3 of his own works to be featured.
If you want to be interviewed, send a note to /Litavis or /JurgenDoe . We will be happy to give you an interview about your work.
It is our honor to present the thirteenth artist of our article.
