Amur Tiger
Kolmården Zoo, Sweden, August 2011
Kolmården is one of the Swedish zoo's that are running a programme to help saving the Amur tiger. They've had cubs born in the zoo, so it's fair to say that their programme is working.

The zoo seems to have not only interesting exhibits, but beautiful enclosures! The huge sculpture there just adds so much!

oh indeed! i think it's a great zoo, where animals can live very much like in the wild. every enclosue is very well adjusted to mimic their natural habitat. as far as can be done in swedish woodland :P
