I´m mostly self learned photographer, but I've been on photography courses, though, usually they didn't taught me anything new, since I had learned the basics.
I'm strict follower of the photography rules. I'm very definite about the composition and cropping. I prefer natural colors in photos, but there are some exceptions, for example using "wrong" white balance to change some colors. I don't like over edited photos at all, but there are exceptions too, if they are made nicely or the quality is good.
I have variable opinion about HDR photography. I like if they are made with good taste and not overdone (many people overdo them unfortunately). It is good technique and I like using it by myself, but mainly to balance lighting not like to bring out the details.
