36" X 40" Acrylic painting of Tropical Birds on BLACK Zweigart Canvas. This surprisingly changes your palette colors a great deal when you paint on black canvas. I start with my line drawing, and then just paint while looking at the original color version. I also shift elements around and give more space between the birds for stitching on a Needlepoint canvas.

Thank you! Perhaps with new glasses I won't be guessing as I try to paint the details. It's easier to paint everything sharp now that I can see.
