Thank you Jurgen, maybe you will inspire me to get back to all those oil paintings waiting to be finished. There are a great many of them in different stages of progress. Maybe once the house and yard is finally put back together, and I can concentrate on art my elaborate designs on board with gold leaf layers on top of red acrylic paint, and Oil and Alkyd paintings will be finished. These smaller completed items are the finished studies for the march larger designs!

Let's hope so! I have 3 or 4- 30" X 30" almost complete, but still need more work of the Parrots and grapes. I have 2 -42" X 42" approx. of the Cockatoos and Magnolia Blossoms, and a 48" X 60" of Roses, Ducks, and Iris. They are all painted a lot, but not finished. Once all this reconstruction in the house is finished I will get back to the studio. My tables have just been taken over by wainscoting, tiles, paint, and other household chores. Everyone can use a little inspiration and encouragement!

I used to have one of these birds, and I absolutely feel you captured the personality of these magnificent creatures. Bravo!

Thank you! Having them as pets, and seeing them and their crazy antics helps to understand the way they behave. Cockatoos are naturally show offs, and at other times just quiet and preen. I appreciate the comment of someone who knows and loves these birds. They are wonderful creatures.
