Philodendron and Pavers

by HouseofChabrier in Sculpted or Carved Artwork

This shows the pavers leading to my front door with my Split Leaf Philodendron Plant. This is where I keep all my Orchids and Bromeliads and Cannas, and other wonderfully made leafy plants that belong in a rain forest. I paint from life or my photos of my plants for images such as the Lemur and Great Hornbill watercolor. I also design my Needlepoint Canvases with tropical birds and plants based on photos I take regularly of these plants. I love to know what I draw and paint and carve!

I'm a firm believer of using my art skills for my life and my home. I think it's silly to have talent and only use it for everyone else who has gobs of money. We poor but talented folk deserve nice, unique things too. William Morris designed and had made up everything for his own home. I love my tiles, and they feel smooth and good on bare feet.

You should do all the tiles in your house too and the tiles on the kitchen wall ... it must look like a dreamy paradise
