  They are really strong, quiet, dignified creatures, and don't deserve the fate of just living in Zoos because man kind has cut done their entire habitat! I love drawing their beautiful eyes, and their sweet faces.

  I only thought there was one species of orangutan. I have a feeling that Europeans know of many different animals and birds I didn't know of. I learned about Ruffs (the bird), Bearded Vultures (had never seen or heard of them), and now the Dhole, what else don't I know about!???

  The weird thing is I read constantly about animals and birds. Used to go to Zoos all the time, and watch Nature and the Discovery and Nova Channels a lot. Now, I'm finding out about lots of animals that I somehow overlooked or just never was made aware of. I had never heard the word Dhole until today, and typed it into Google because I thought maybe you were kidding me. Then I spent all day reading about a species that again is being driven to the brink of extinction. What is the matter with the human race????? :yes

  Discovery Channel or Nova Channel don't know about many other species too that's why you never heard of them .. dunno why humankind has to kill all those species just for the fun of it

  One of the next super endangered species I am going to draw is the Saiga Antelope which is being poached to extinction faster than any other mammal alive. I learned about them a couple of years ago but have never drawn one. The Chinese buy their horns which is just the same as hair or fingernails to put in their medicine. I think they should just take the clippings from every manicurist and barber in China put that in their medicine,and leave the poor antelope alone. I'm sure anybodies fingernails would do just as much for their health as would antelope horn! Save the Bear, the Tiger, Antelope and various other species and cure your cold or erectile dysfunction with hair cuttings and toenail clippings. Fucking idiot people ...slaughter animals because the human race eats too much, can't get it up, or gets a cough. :shrug

  What about Sharks fin soup? Cut the fins off the sharks, and then throw them back in the ocean. Wholesale slaughter of bears for their livers, or just keep them alive and harvest parts so the animal lives in agony. The human race is not very respectful of each other, and all other species on the planet. We are all very guilty for the destruction of all that is good on this planet. I just feel sad that we lose so many species because of human behavior.

  Yup .. the chinese are the number one and they almost have driven the pandas to the extinction .. now other parts of the world need to breed them and send them back to China so they have enough to kill again ... Slaughter of this wild animals should be handled with death .. the buyer and the killer should be shot right away
