24" X 36" portrait of the Mona Lisa painted for the Musical Annie being performed by our local Theater Group. Tomorrow is the first performance, and I finished this in two days so it would be ready. More graphic, and no glazing because the shine wouldn't work with the theater lights. I'm happy it's not as good as the original, but it will do for a play! silly but fun!

You are too sweet and kind! I hope it inspires someone to go out and help their local Theater Group with props and sets. That's what I've been doing and it's a great way to promote art, theater, children, and use your art to give to others. Thank YOU!

Thank you! It's not as subtle as I would like it to be, but it is on stage a short time...Daddy Warbucks buys the Mona Lisa...and then decides he doesn't like the painting. He then decides he will hang it in his bathroom. She is on the stage for a laugh, but it was fun to paint and I enjoyed myself. Leonardo has no worries from me. He took ten years to finish, and I just worked on it for two days. Mine is a poor imitation, but imitation is also the sincerest form of flattery. Thank you! I'm glad you appreciate my efforts!
