Mexican Fireleg Tarantula

Illustration done of a tarantula that crashed so many times, but I finally was able to complete it. Each hair is a gradient shape individually drawn...that was what caused so many problems.

    Adorable, and extremely well done. I had the more usual types, but they were quite a lot of fun to watch. Had to be quite careful of getting them upset as they brush irritating hairs from their abdomen and they get into the skin like fiberglass.

      I like spiders unless they are crawling on me...then they must die. I have some God sons who like spiders, and we live where there are tarantulas so he has one. I like to draw things they will enjoy also!

      As kid I loved spiders and watched them for hours how the worked on their net but for some reason I can't stand this creatures anymore :)
