      Thank you, Jurgen! I'm glad you like this one. It's fun to create a scene, especially with snow. It was also enjoyable to paint all those golden and rust colored reeds to contrast with the Gray Heron. I'm happy you like this painting!

      Thank you so much....you better take some very good pictures of your cats. My painting hand is getting itchy... I got my green marble floor for my guest bathroom, and ordered rose covered wallpaper today! I worked all day Sunday on a large Peacock and Magnolia Needlepoint Canvas, and I will post that soon when it's totally finished. My floors are coming up, old wallpaper is coming down, BUT I still don't have enough to do....so I need those pictures of cats. The day before Thanksgiving I baked 3 Pecan Pies, 2 Pumpkin Pies, and 6 Carrot Cakes to share, eat, and give away. I am very accomplishment oriented, and I always need more to do to keep out of trouble! I've got some new pictures of Big Horn Sheep to paint, but I still have the desire to paint domestic cats. s
