Fireplace Angel Private Residence

This is the Head of the Angel. I worked on this project through DEC Associates, and the Angel was Carved from 4 pound density foam. I also used clay, spackle, bondo, and finished her off with Automotive Primer. I used different materials to get different finishes or textures on her face, skin, hair, and clothing.

      I had no real training, other than life and being asked to do the job. Sculpting is very satisfying as is modeling in clay. Just start, if you want to do something do it. Thank you, and I hope you pick up some clay, or a chisel and wood or plaster and try your hand at it. It's gratifying work and fun!
