  Thank you! It's kind of nice, I'm working on a pencil drawing of the "Raven" now, but my hand also wants to be painting. Too bad the right hand can't do one job and the left another. I also bought some new oil painting medium I want to try out, plus some heavy large sheets of watercolor paper I want to do some landscapes on. I think I have a years worth of painting and drawing, matting and framing to do. I can't sit still for a minute unless I'm making art!

  I like the way owls look at we humans with suspicion and I fear a little contempt. We are neither friend or foe, but most likely trouble so when they see us during the day they sometimes just fly off to sleep somewhere else. Our owl in the back yard came to realize we were no threat so he or she would just go back to sleep. Thank you!

  Cool! I just had this field book with black paper that I had never used before, and because it was small I decided to do eyes. Owl eyes just fascinate me (perhaps because we had a family of 4 babies mom and dad in our back yard all summer). I started with the Owl eyes, and will do some more that go to Eagles, Emus, Ostriches, and so on. It's nice they are getting featured, and that people like them. I'm just really glad I'm improving at painting eyes.
