3Sandblasted Roses and Butterfly

Another sandblasted plaque that was designed and blasted by me...then the surface is sanded slightly to rid the plaque of the glue from the 3M Sandblasting tape or something green called Buttercut when you want to blast deeper. The panel is than painted in oils or acrylic, dried, and sealed then shipped to the customer. I think these went to a McDonald's with a garden theme.

      I loved doing these, and the Acrylic Banners with the frogs, suns, Rooster on the fence were originally designed for this kind of art or signage. Then it was raining alot, and you can't sandblast when it rains because all the moisture clogs the gun so I painted acrylic banners on canvas instead. There are so many things that effect how and why I do an art project for myself. Wheather and supplies, and opportunity are just a few.
