Went down to the local shrine to practice some stuff and lucked out as there was a blessing and purification ceremony of some kind going on. I tried to document it as best as I could but I didn't want to be too intrusive. The gentleman in the dapper sports coat on the right just snuck into the frame as I pressed the shutter...oh well.

That is Japan's blessing and curse: a constant state of juxtaposition. While maintaining traditional culture, it often leaves them rudderless navigating the stream of the future....or something like that.
