What can I say...it's one of the most photographed temples in Japan. Here's my version of it...hope I did it justice. :)

Thank you. That's very kind of you to say, but I don't know if I would go that far. I just like looking around and I happen to bring a camera with me.

Very beautiful! Any way to get some dawn or sunset shots with colors reflecting off the water. I'd love to do a Logon for the destop for this!

I would have to get special permission from the temple to enter the grounds at both of those times of the day. I don't think they would be too accommodating to an amateur photog.
I would love a blue hour shot but I don't think that is going to happen any day soon.

Just tell them your there to capture the Spiritual Esscence of Chromatic Light for the monk @ the Logon Temple. No disrespect intended tho. But the thought of spreading the esscence of light might encourage them as they were once amatuers . Everything goes full circle!

Such a beautiful location, really nice vibrant colors! I somehow feel that the image could've had some of it's lower region cropped to have it more focused on the temple as it sorta feels like the focus point goes towards the tree in the middle with it's reflection in the water, but maybe that was the point i don't know! Regardless, well done
