Aww..you'd be surprised what you can do when you have to.
There are only a few places on the trail that require a bit of a scramble but the rest is a pretty well laid out trail. (or at least the trail I was on was like that.)
How are your knees? That's the biggest question....
Having had a hip replacement two years ago, and it's now looking like the other one may need to be replaced. Going to the hospital on Friday, for an x-ray & MRI scan. Perhaps when I'm fully bionic I'll be able to do it
Double replacement? Ewww...that bites. But the hip replacement tech has been steadily improving over the past few years, yes? Might get a better hip this time around. Good luck with the op!
Thank you sir. There are huts along the routes to the top for hikers to sit, catch their breath and maybe buy a coffee or snack. I took a nap in one just before reaching the top.

Oct 9th Reply Respect & ResponsibilityThe way my hip's playing up I wouldn't be able to climb Glastonbury Tor let alone Mt. Fuji.

Doesn't sound like fun but I take it the replaced hip has been serving you well, yes? When you are bionic let me know, we can try a few peaks!
Oct 10th Reply C'mon Pookie...EarthHart
Sadly it hasn't, that's one of the problems.
