yes it is a photomanipulation. no brush used on skin.

loving the concept. reminds me of Pulse. powerful idea, well-executed. the brushing is good, except on his hair. nice work still!

Great piece. Truth can be hard to handle, can't it? I really like what you did with the skin and how the body seems to fly apart. The color gives it a rather cold feel, which fits with the message in my opinion. But the background, the wall seems to not fit with the image of the person. The green-grayisch look offers too little contrast in the sense that to bring out his pain even more i think a warmer wall would bring it out more.
