I shot this sky last summer. The sky is an amazing place, and I find that my eyes are always on it. It's never the same twice - The possibilities are endless.

For sure! Haven't seen anything like that in about 17 years!
Sep 6th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...Handie
17 years??!!! Holy crap man!!!! You need to get out more! ;)

Whenever I do manage to get home I never seem to be able to catch a sunset....bad timing on my part for sure!
Sep 6th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...Handie
Well, you have a lot to do when you come home (you did mean home, as in HERE -not like when you get home form work right?) so I can see how you wouldn't have time. Don't worry - I shoot enough for the both of us! ;)

I live vicariously through others art!

Sep 8th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...Yes, "home" refers to MB not JPN, although JPN is my home for now!
AND I'm getting confused between all the conversations taking place here, dA, G+, PM etc etc. So I apologize in advance if I get muddled or start repeating myself. I would usually blame old age but I'm not ready for that just yet!
Handie
So do I - quick!! show me that mountain!! ;)
Sep 9th, 2011 ReplyYeah, it can be a bit confusing - so many places, so little time! C'mon - you're old enough to blame old age. You ARE older than me after all. By at least a couple of years!! ;)
HillbillyDeluxe
Hey now...only a year if memory serves me correctly...and quite often it doesn't!
Sep 10th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...Handie
No way.... at least 10 years! :P Don't you age as you go more to the East? LOL!
Sep 10th, 2011 ReplyHillbillyDeluxe
Jeez...I thought I was getting younger...
Sep 11th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...Handie
I refuse to believe that!! hey - did you see the message on DA - do you want to be my guinea pig?
Sep 11th, 2011 ReplyHillbillyDeluxe
yup! I got the DB message too. Downloading DB to my pc now. Our system gets pretty laggy during lunch. Might take a while.... :(
Sep 12th, 2011 Reply C'mon Pookie...HillbillyDeluxe
DB done. File almost done!

No matter how many sunsets or sunrises we see, there is always something different, and each one carries its own unique beauty. You did your job as a photographer very well in capturing this beautiful sight.
Sep 5th, 2011 ReplyHandie
Thank you so much James! You are so right - each night we have the opportunity to see a free light show - but most people don't notice it :(
Sep 5th, 2011 ReplyJamesGrady
And that is why the world needs nature photographers. We don't create the art,of Nature, but we do our best to capture it in a way others can appreciate it.
