I recently watched all of the Heroes series and thought I would do a few portraits while the show was still fresh in my mind. I was especially captivated by Samuel’s smooth performance in the last season. (actor Robert Knepper) I loved his outfit when I first saw the reference photo but by the end of the 14th hour of painting this I wasn’t as impressed, ha ha! Striped shirts won’t be on my list of projects again for awhile!

I really loved the photo I used as reference for this portrait. Heroes belongs to Tim Kring.

I really enjoyed painting this with my bamboo and Gimp Paint Studio(GPS), 14 hrs.
