Birth of a dragon

Yes, another ASOIAF fanart. And yes, Dany again. I just wanted to make something soft, dreamy and simple, just to get my mind off my usual troubles. I really need to get around to creating something more ambitious one day... but right now I'm reading historical books for school, and I usually need to take a break after every 40 pages or so. Not that they're not fascinating - I love history - but these are certainly not light reading material and are taking away a lot of my time.

Anyway, I'm finally learning what a wonderful, amazing tool are layer masks (yes, after six years of doing manips. oh, well). And clipping masks, which are even better.
