I recommend Alias Sketch Pro (or I suppose the Autodesk equivalent nowadays) for those wanting drawing applications. As for 3d, I'd say Blender 3d works very well since it is free and relatively simple. Also, for those beginning 3d, I'd say that Blender works well because if you decide that 3d is not for you later on in your course of usage, it's not a waste of $300

I'm currently on a massive dubstep/grime/drum and bass trip, although I am listening to a bit of other things. Yes Boss Combichrist Scuba Vex'd RESO GEAR-CX (Myself) Epica Delain Buraka Som Sistema Virus Syndicate Those are a few of my favorites.
