The short story… Started off with web design at 14. Explored other digital mediums – 3D modelling, level design, programming, etc. – for several years until I got my “big break” at 20 and stuck with web design as my career. Bored, confused and wanting something different, I left my cushy in-house designer job of three years to find myself and something meaningful to do with my life. It’s been more than a year since and I’m still trying to do that. But now I’ve narrowed down on what I need to change to get back that spark I had in my late teens. I need to get back to my roots, by ditching new, useless habits, embracing the constraints and crude tools I used to craft with and networking with the kind of people I naturally click with. Shadowness – along with other old greats like Wasted Youth, Halo Vision, 2Advanced, etc. – were windows into a world I had wanted to explore in my younger years. I gave up on that dream years ago, but now want back in. It only makes sense that I restart my journey here…

Well I remain one of the most senior artists on Shadowness having been with the site pretty much since its birth, from starting out small to growing bigger everyday. I have met loads of fantastic people on here and continue to do so on a daily basis, if you wish to become a friend just add me its that simple :) I hail from the UK where its very wet at the moment but that doesn't change much, I'm 27 and a Senior Designer for a Web Design and Development firm in the Midlands. I'm 27 years old and of Laotian nationality. More about me: I fell in love with art since I was a child. Art has always been my strong subject at school. Sailor moon was my first inspiration to draw manga style. I have not posted my old works yet -- perhaps another day. Secondly, Final Fantasy (VII-VIII-X-XII-XIII) was my inspiration for digital art and fantasy characters. Recently, I have been in love with photography. I have a thirst for improvement. Hobby: I spend most of my time on online forums (mostly about One Piece), read manga online, do photography, drawing, watching anime and watch Asian drama.
