But meaning is there beyond the scare. Free your mind It will take you there. Restful peace will come to all. Even though steady feet, may often fall. Strange isn't different after all. It's so strange not to hear a heartfelt call. For peace my friend until the end. Hear the hopes and prayers that we send. And try to climb the higher peak. But do not scorn the mild or meek. © Pat martin 2011 "Peak may refer to: Arts and Fashion" ~ From Wikipedia: This poem was inspired by King Crimson (Projekt 3) - The Deception Of The Thrush. Of falling stars or fairy dance. The magic of love, of hope and will. and the milk of kindness too easy to spill. The stabbing pain that takes my voice. the longing loss, the theft of choice. All forsaken in a sea of red. The failing life of love now dead. The floating corpse of (k)nightly dreams. My dark desire for dangerous things. The complete surrender of all I have. Has led to this. Not lamb or calf. There are no words to say this thing. My throat stabbed shut. I cannot sing. My wish for swans to take my heart. Has led to this, my darkened art. © Pat martin 2011.
