My grandpa had a macaw that we had to give to a lady who owns a bird sactuary ... my grandpa was too ill to care for the bird, sadly, but she has a good home now. This so very much reminds me of her! Those sharp colors, visceral expressions, and remarkable plumage. A lovely shot of an exquisite species.
