Taking part in Noah Bradley's Art-Camp and just made this master study of a piece from Frederic Edwin Church, who lived 1826 - 1900 - "Pichincha". Doing these studies really teaches a lot. Master study: Bierstadt

Studying the old masters is said to be one of the best ways to learn - so I did a study of Albert Bierstadts "Among the Sierra Nevada, California". It's not 100% accurate but I think I learned a lot.
