Shadowness - FaintSketches I don't really consider myself an artist. I've always been a visual, expressive person, and I try to evoke emotion through imagery as best I can. en Earthmover
Earthmover was created using a piece of Bristol paper, two Micron pens, and two of my own personal stock/texture images. I used no references for this piece, which proved exceedingly difficult. I’ve always been extremely opposed to drawing earth, rock, trees, etc. but once I broke though the wall of that aversion I discovered I actually quite enjoy it, and can honestly say this is my favorite piece I’ve ever done. The inspiration for this piece partially came from the JK Flesh track I named it after: “Earthmover” from Justin Broadrick’s album Posthuman. Posthuman : Thank You for taking the time to look. Great and terrible, thought not as he seems.. All life shudders in his widening wake, Though no creature flees, and no life does he take. He is the essence of the infinite deep. Its dangers, he ignores. Its secrets, he keeps. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Ink on Bristol paper. 2011.
