Apr 5th, 2011Hello there! My name is Tansie Stephens and I am a Varied Digital Artist, with a Graphic Design Degree. I work with Photoshop, Paintshop Pro and a Wacom Tablet. I have been working with Photomanipulation and other digital arts for about 6 years now and counting. I am able to Retouch photos, digitally paint elements onto a digital canvas, create stationery for businesses, book covers, flyers, brochures, etc. In my portfolio, you will see a wide range of photos demonstrating my flexibility in many of the subcategories of digital art. I have worked very hard over the years to develop my own style. :) I try to bring upon a unique balance of light and dark to my works. I call it Nebulous Illumine. When i sit outside to watch the sunrise or sunset, I always feel the darkness and the light. My professional work experience is about 18 years in the areas of Illustration, Concept Design, Background Painting, Texturing, Art Direction and some knowledge of 3D Modeling and Animation. I have worked for companies in the areas of Graphic Design, Advertising, Editorial, Animation, Post-Production and Videogames. I have to say that I am good at designing or creating environments and props from scratch, painting with a strong sense of color, and creating dramatic light/ambience in a background. Sailor moon was my first inspiration to draw manga style. I have not posted my old works yet -- perhaps another day.
