Ruin in the Jungle

by EarthHart in Plant Kingdom

Tetrapanax papyrifer known as the Rice Paper Plant, growing next to the ruined tower of the Grand Hall, in the grounds of the Bishop's Palace, Wells.

The pith from the stem is used to make a substance commonly known as rice paper, but more properly termed pith paper.

To get the shot I had to stretch my arm out under the leaves, look at the triangulation & trust I'd got it right.
