This is a conte' crayon and sanguine drawing on a piece of papyrus paper. The subject was talking about the cooks in the old trail drives - and he could spin quite a tale. Was a fun subject to do.

Amazing portrait!! I love the effect of the papyrus paper, it's really nice and gives the work a nice aged feeling as well as being so very unique I think :)
