Earleywine
A little 9 x 12 oil. My plein air/landscape practice for the week. I may touch it up just a bit when it gets dry

Thanks :). It was actually a pretty striking scene. It is at the end of Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park. I saw the hills covered in mustard grass in the afternoon, and I went back at daybreak the next day to get the light I wanted. I stood outside my car waiting for the sun to come up, listening to some coyotes yapping and howling just on the other side of the hills.

Now thats my type of life scene Pam....your so lucky and the colors of the mustard grass must of been vibrant. My brother lives in Bozeman, Montana and he frequents Yellowstone.
