Montana Summer

16 x 20 Oil on Canvas that I just finished. Been a couple weeks since I have done a plein air/landscape, so Megan and I took a ride down Paradise Valley. Scene is from the west side of the valley, on a gravel road that cuts over a hill to Trail Creek Road.

Wonderful! Congrats on the DI too. A little late perhaps. I'd like to try plein aire too when I have the time. (it would be pastels, watercolors or acrylics...) Inspiring stuff.

  Thanks :). Starting to get the hang of it, but I confess I throw away quite a few of them too. haha Painting wet on wet is the toughest thing - if you overwork it at all, you just have mud
