Congratulations on the daily inspiration. This is a really sunning painting, the way you have created the texture of the fur of the elk made me think that this was a photo in the rain when I first saw it. Wonderful work.

  Thanks ! I actually moved to Livingston for two reasons - a better school system for my 13 year old (she is extremely smart and needed a school with classes for advanced kids), and its proximity to Yellowstone Park. I love going to the park, especially in the winter when there are few tourists (and 12 foot of snow haha) Every trip there is magic. And the valley between here and the park is full of elk and deer all winter too!
