What a wonderful capture this shot is. Just sums up beautifully the way I'm feeling at the moment!! Up until now we have not really had a severe winter, (thank you global warming!!), but it has now hit us with a vengence. This bird has all the physical attributes of us humans at the moment, hunched shoulders and puffed out feathers, except we now have our wonderful winter 'puffer' jackets on! The composition of the shot is great and the colour of the bird makes the photo appear black and white, (becoming a favourite of mine at the moment), and could be interpreded in many ways, as you have probably seen me comment before I really enjoy photographs/art that allows for the viewers imagination, but is also extremely well executed. Well done you and thank you so much for sharing. I always enjoy looking at your gallery and intentionally, or not, you do have a knack of capturing excellent shots but also the character, comedy or feeling of a subject.
Wow, thank you very much for this beautiful and thoughtful comment, I truly appreciate this, means a lot to me friend. I am glad to hear that I'm transferring feelings with my photography, which is my main intention.
the contrast and b/w is nice, Dan. for me, I'd like to see more spaces on where this fella is going to go. by the way, for this photo, I don't have monologue. I respect him to be alone and contemplating of himself. Sometimes, we do need to be alone for a while
