AD1970
you did well
Jun 1st, 2011 Replywhat kind of lens did you use too
Dynnnad
A Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens combined with a ringflash
Jun 1st, 2011 Reply Ghetto Gorilla BlastersAD1970
that sounds cool
Jun 1st, 2011 Replyi have an 18-55mm lens on my 20D with a built in flash too
i was told the 20D performs very well in low light conditions
the ISO goes up to about 1600
Dynnnad
Yeah I've got a built in flash too. But it just wont cut it for macro photography because the subject is just in front of the macro lens. So the flash creates an ugly shadow.
Jun 1st, 2011 Reply Ghetto Gorilla BlastersBe careful with the ISO though, too much might result in grainy pictures!
AD1970
i had a flash gun when i had my Fuji 602 but with the 20D's built in flash i haven't had any problems when doing close up work
Jun 1st, 2011 Replyalso i try to rely on natural light too this gives my photos a bit more depth
As with the ISO i only go as high as 400 but will sometimes go as low as say between 80 and 200 i also like grain added on too, i think my 20d has some kind of built in noise reduction when shooting long distance/exposure
Dynnnad
Yeah I always try to rely on natural light, don't prefer flash.
Jun 1st, 2011 Reply Ghetto Gorilla BlastersI'm usually at ISO 100/200
AD1970
natural light beats artifical light by a long shot LOL
Jun 1st, 2011 ReplyDynnnad
Definitely! lol :D
Jun 1st, 2011 Reply Ghetto Gorilla BlastersAD1970
any way i am off to see how many images my camera recorded in RAW format, i will still use Jpeg too until i get more hard disk space as i know Raw files are fairly large
Jun 1st, 2011 ReplyDynnnad
Alright, have fun!
