Thanks Joe. It's part of a little project. A load of people keep saying that the camera makes the photo, so I decided to do a few using my old point and shoot camera :)
Ok, I know that Jessops made developer and sold it for many years too....I'm still excited, but I'm also a big advocate for home developing for those that have scanners. :>)
I bought my first set up...a plastic daylight tank, 10 rolls of film, a dark bag, 2 plastic spools, 1 can of acufine developer, one bag of kodak fixative, and one container of stop-bath for about 100$ US. I don't know if thats a fortune...I had enough chemicals to develop about 30 rolls or so, plus fix 100 or more. so its not like you have to spend a lot after the initial investment.

Jun 5th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Jessops usually :)
Jun 5th, 2011 ReplyHellOnAStick
Now i'm really interested. I have not seen any photos developed with that chemical yet!
Jun 5th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Ah. I see the confusion. Jessops is a shop that will develop them for you :)

Jun 6th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Yeah. I'd love to do that. :)
Jun 6th, 2011 ReplyHellOnAStick
Its super simple. I was really intimidated at first, but its quite inexpensive and really rewarding to see the negatives come out when you're done!
Jun 6th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Yeah. My Dad used to do it a lot. It's all done in shops now though :/
Jun 6th, 2011 ReplyWhere do you get the chemicals from??
HellOnAStick
I buy all of my supplies from these suppliers. usually their prices are cheapest. I buy most of my new film from adorama and most of my color chemicals from Freestyle.

I know that freestyle delivers...but there's another site in the uk/europe...i'll just have to ask some friends on APUG.org and see.
Jun 8th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Yeah, it just costs a fortune. Thanks Joe :)
