A redux of a redux of a redux. Yeah, I'm confused too. Needless to say, I've been redoing this artwork since 2009. No more! This is the final version, I promise!
The inspiration for this was the original graphic novel I created, called "Echoes of Darkness", that's based on Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. The character featured is the lead character, Maia Starfire. The original purpose of the original image was to be the novel's cover but I never had it printed so there was never a need for the cover.
The lightsaber effect was achieved using IDL along with a special prop and materials made by me plus some digital painting. This won't be the last time I make an artwork with a lightsaber, they're too much damn fun!

I'm not sure if I made the skin texture but I do know I made the morphs. (It may be my Kalypso textures but I can't remember!) I could make INJ poses of the face and body morphs and send them to you. I could also send you my skin shader setup, you'd need Poser 9+ because it uses SSS.

Finally got back to my work pc. Although I did make an original character for this artwork, I ended up using one I bought instead for the final version. It's Raiya's Cherry V4 from Daz3D with my own shaders. I can still send you my shaders since the ones that come with the character aren't all that great.
