Thanks Marion :). The more I am around bison, the more I love them. Absolutely Love their colors - but the buffalo themselves are pretty awesome critters. Last fall I spent some time just standing outside my truck in Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park. There was buffalo as far as the eye could see down the valley to up close. Was mating season and the bulls were grunting and snorting and letting the others know how tough they were. The sound of the bulls was echoing up and down the valley - hard to describe the feeling. I just stood there for a long time listening to them. It was a very spiritual thing.
